She knows what she wants.

Many of you have heard how James on her third birthday woke up and informed me that she no longer will wear diapers. So, I put her in panties and there was no looking back. She was potty trained, without the training. She even stayed dry all night. On her fourth birthday she woke up and was quickly disappointed because she could not read. Now, she is starting to read. On Wednesday she announced that she needed her training wheels off of her bike. It was too late that night, here's what was going on Wednesday night at our house:
So last night Dad took the training wheels off. Dad started with the "hands off coaching" approach. Then we each took turns with the "hands on" approach. And we practice the "learning by teaching" approach. (the girls tell me all the time that I picked a very funny daddy for them, so cute!) Campbell had a blast on her tricycle.

And tell Bill that if he's gonna keep on riding her bike he's gonna need to pump up those tires!! :)

So adorable! James is such a go-getter. I'm glad we're birthday buddies because a lot of things about her remind me of things my mom said about me when I was her age.

Cute pictures. I didn't get the cute Campbell sporting the training pants pictures though. How did you put three in a row like that on your blog? So, did James figure out how to ride her bike? My best advice is when you feel like you are going to fall just pedal faster and look straight ahead.

Oh! You read The Time Traveler's Wife?! Did you love it?! Call me if you want to talk about it! Also, I have THE secret to learning how to ride a bike without the backache for you!

I'm so glad the girls have a "funny daddy". Yep, those tires look a little low. What fun for both the girls and Bill. What great pictures, Thanks Erin!!
Much Love
