Last weekend
Happy {late} Mother's Day to all you mothers out there! We had Taite's blessing on Mother's Day. What better way to celebrate? She was perfect until after when she had a diaper explosion on her dress. Of course! We were so lucky to have my parents down for the day. The girls were on cloud nine with them around. Now we need to get up to Wisconsin to see the new sheep and baby geese.
We also celebrated my dad's 60th birthday. I made his favorite German Chocolate Cake. (it was Kristi May's recipe and it is amazing!) I think it was a great day because he got to hold a baby as much as he wanted and play with James and Campbell. They think he is so much fun and he can sing out of tune and they love it!

her dress is beautiful in the picture at least. Congrats!
That must have been a beautiful day. Love the pictures.
Love to All
How is it that your Dad loves holding babies and Jacob's scared of them? I did manage to get him holding the 1yo I nanny for awhile yesterday and he was totally smitten.
Oh and congrats on the blessing!! Wish we could have been there!
Umm, how did you get a newborn to look at the camera? That's a really neat trick. And your whole family looks great, and Bill looks dapper in his sweater. You make being a mom of 3 look gooooooood. :)
what a coincedence, i gave my first talk on mother's day too!

What great picture! That is so cool that you made Dad a German chocolate cake for his birthday.
You do not look like you just had a baby you look great! I'm glad it worked out to have the baby blessed on Mother's Day. She looked adoreable!
